To suspend holds on items you have on hold at the Tewksbury Public Library: Log into your library account online, go to the "Holds" tab, select "Edit" for the item you wish to suspend, change the "Active?" box to "No, this hold is suspended", and select "Submit". You can also call or email the library and a staff member can suspend holds for you. Suspending a hold will not remove your place in the holds list.

2. Go to yourlibrary accountby clickingon the “Catalog”link on
the library’s website (www.tewksburypl.org)

3. Select “My Account”

4. Enteryour14-digit library cardnumber (withno spaces or
dashes) and your PIN number or password.Select “Log in”.

5. In your AccountSummary,click the “Holds” tabto view and
manage the items you haveon hold. Youcanalso click on
“View All” next to the list in AccountSummary.

6. Select “Edit”, locatedto the right of the item you wish to
suspend.

7. The item will appearwith editingoptions.Clickon the down
arrow to the right of the “Active?” box. Select “No, this holdis
suspended”.

8. If you want the holdto become activeafteracertaindate
enter the date you want the holdto be re-active. If you wish
to re-activateyour holdyourself leave the field blank. To
activatetheholdyouwouldrepeatthelastfewsteps,changingthe
“Active?”boxto“Yes,thisholdisactivenow”.

9. Select “Submit”.

10. Your“Active” status will be updatedto say “Suspended”. If
you chose an activatedateis will be displayedunder
“Activate”.
Note: You will not lose yourplacein the holdslist when you
suspend it.

11. When you are done select “Logout”in the top right hand
corner.
