In short FIDEL CASTRO changed the world, he became the Prime Minister of Cuba and was involved in the Cuban Missile Crisis.
When Castro was younger he was one of the guerrillas who led an attack on Batista, they finalized their plans and took weapons and ammunition to attack the Moncada Barracks, the largest garrison outside Santiago de Cuba,they led the attack on the 26th of July 1953.
Castro was arrested, and sentenced to 15 years of jail time in 1953.He was released 2 years later.
He then led the revolution against Fulgencio Batista in 1959

In 1959 he lead the revolution against Fulgencio Batista and was made the Prime Minister shortly afterwards.
He also became the first secretary of the Cuba Communist Party and also is the Commander In Chief of The Cuban Armed Forces.
During the 1962 Missile Crisis tensions between the Soviet Union & the U.S heightened.
The Soviet Union placed missiles in Cuba as a possible deterrent for a possible U.S invasion.
Later in 1962 Fidel Castro sent a letter to Khrushchev telling him to send a Nuclear strike at the U.S if they invaded Cuba, Khrushchev refused.
The U.S made a swap for the missiles if the U.S promised not to invade Cuba, the U.S agreed
THE CUBAN MISSILE CRISIS
According to numerous sources, Fidel Castro has had roughly 638 attempts on his life.
During an interview he stated that if surviving assassination attempts were an Olympic event he would have the gold medal.
Celebrations were held for his 81st birthday and was not fit to attend since he’s very ill, his brother Raul took over his role UNOFFICIALLY!
THE GREAT SURVIVOR
Not many people like Fidel Castro for his ways and for thinking he’s made Cuba worse.
Whereas others like him because they think he’s changed Cuba in ways that other leaders haven’t.
