The Film Studio FZ-LLC has the mission to ignite imagination, creation and inspiration among children so that they can
pursue their career in filmmaking. It has attracted tremendous amount of attention from schools, parents, families &
filmmakers - locally, regionally and globally. Team CIFF is also introducing more awards in the 2015 edition. While
student films will contend for 23 awards, the International Films will contend for 3 awards.
Filmmaking workshops, Filmmaking competition, Film appreciation Forums, Meaningful & Inspirational Cinema from
around the world and lot's more…the wait is finally over! The Film Studio FZ-LLC is excited to present Children's
International Film Festival's (CIFF) 2015 edition – UAE's only national level Children's Film Festival. The amazing journey
of meaningful & inspirational cinema from around world is about to begin!
The previous edition of CIFF was a huge success, 44 schools, 80+ student films made by close to 1,000 young & aspiring
filmmakers, 15,000+ attendees and 234 international film submissions from 38 countries in 36 languages. CIFF 2014
had also received support from The Centre of Excellence for Applied Research & Training (CERT), the commercial,
research and training arm of the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT).
