  3. 3. Income per capita • Used to refer to the distributation of items such as – Money – Food – land • When we put the term ‘per capita’ to an amount. We are applying to each person in a specific country or place. • The average amount of money earned by a person is known as ‘income per capita’.

  5. 5. Formula Total income genrated in a country in one year GDP per capita= Total population GDP refers to the total income generated by a country in one year
  6. 6. Employment structure • Shows the proportion of the workforce in three main employment. – Primary – Secondary – Tertiary
  7. 7. Primary industries • Extracting or gathering of natural resources such as logging, mining and agriculture is carried out.
  8. 8. Secondary industries • Involves the manufacturing or production of goods from raw materials such as garment or shoes manufacturing.
  9. 9. Tertiary industries • Is made up of the sales sector and the provision of services such as banking, teaching and tourism.
