1. Be the Best Handwasher Ever by following the A,B,C’s and 1,2,3’s of Handwashing The 1,2,3’s: Wash your hands… 1. With warm or cold water and a squirt of soap. 2. Wash the tops of your hands, between your fingers, and under fingernails. 3. Rinse well, dry with a paper towel or air dryer, and use the paper towel to turn off the faucet. The ABC’s: Wash your hands… After entering the classroom, handling the class pet, coughing, blowing your nose, or using the restroom. Before eating, using the computer, or leaving for the day. Carefully, for a minimum of 20 seconds (the time it takes to sing the ABC song); rinse and dry thoroughly.
