Conflict: The owners of the chickens get mad because Ruby and Miss Eula steal the chickens.

Solution Ruby and Miss Eula write letters to each other and they feel better because they think they’re right there with each other. They stopped stealing chickens because Miss Eula moves to Hawaii.

Our Favorite Parts: Esperanza’s favorite part is when Ruby and Miss Eula steal chickens. Eilee’s favorite part is when Ruby and Miss Eula send letters to each other.
