Untie our hands from system vendors… …we can’t expect them to deliver everything our users want anyway

We have the power to do stuff (that maybe useful)

Libraries have data too…. … we must make it open.

Mashup is a broad church of playing with stuff on the web to see if something useful somes out of it
People going to the library website less?
RSS is the glue
Anyone can do this.
Web is a toolbox of toys
Web was always meant to be interconnected, not silos
