  • Social Media Agencies United A collaboration between Social Media agencies to show that the sum of our efforts is much greater then the sum of its parts. While alone, it is difficult to put on a huge Vegas blowout, together we can do even more. The purpose of this presentation is to invite Social Media agencies from around the world to come together to sponsor a special party on the opening Friday night of BlogWorld Expo, after the official opening party. We are asking that each agency contribute a sponsorship of $1,000 to offset the cost of the party, which is estimate to be $20,000. Photo of Party Venue, This Year’s Social Media Clubhouse
  • the social shuttle We will be renting a special “Social Shuttle” limo bus, as we did in Austin for SxSW that will take people back and forth from their hotels to the official party and then after that is over, to take people to the party at the Social Media Clubhouse. We are seeking sponsors for the Social Media Clubhouse Shuttle for both Friday and Saturday night for a fee of $5,000 per night.
  • we propose. We are asking each agency to pay $1,000 to be a participating sponsor in Social Media Agencies United We are also looking for a Social Shuttle sponsor, $5,000 per night for Friday and Saturday We would request you consider a small business membership in Social Media Club, to support the industry’s professional association ($250) or if you are a bigger agency, the Corporate Membership ($2,499) http://socialmediaclub.org/membership
  • the fine print • the success of this party is dependent on us achieving our sponsorship goals, which means, if we fall short, the party may need to be scaled back slightly • we are going to hire all the staff with this money, bartenders, security, cleanup crew, DJ and other support staff • we are going to buy food and beverages for this party in line with the monies collected. if you know Chris & Kristie, you know they know how to make it a great party • we are going to print at least two 4’ wide x 8’ tall banners with all the logos from participating social media agencies on it, which will all be the same approximate size • the party is only going to be open to members of Social Media Club, but people can join for free as open community members. when people stop by the Social Media Club booth, we will give them a special access pass for the Social Shuttle and the party. we will provide five (5) of these to each agency in advance • we need to pay an additional $3,000 from monies collected to the venue for a party fee • all participating agencies also gets online promotion through SocialMediaClubhouse.com • a Ustream show will be filming live from the party all night with interviews of participating agencies and their leadership • we could use your help in securing liquor sponsors to help offset costs

  • Let’s do something great together! While there are several big agencies who could do this on their own, we can do something cool with a bunch of great, but smaller agencies to do a party like this better, together. Let’s show people what social is all about and work together to put on the best “unofficial” party at Blog World Expo!
  • #SMCH4 The Social Media Clubhouse History
  • a quick look back SMCH2 During Le Web 2009 Video of Photos from SMCH3 During SxSW 2010
  • March 2007 #SMCH1 The first Social Media Clubhouse was in 2007 during the Community 2.0 and SNCR's Annual Conference. It was hosted by Social Media Club and provided housing to Brian Solis, Giovanni Rodriguez, David Parmet and a few other speakers from the conference. Since we had to spend a week in Vegas for the two back to back conferences, we figured it would be a fun, cost effective way of participating.
  • December 2009 #SMCH2 Social Media Club revamped the Clubhouse concept for Le Web in Paris with a sponsorship from PayPal. With house residents Robert Scoble, Cathy Brooks, Dana Oshiro, Kristie Wells and Chris Heuer, it showed what was possible. As the site of several special interviews, a late night Le Web recap show on Justin.tv and as a jumping off point for the conference, the experience sparked a new vision for what was possible.
  • March 2010 #SMCH3 During SxSW 2010, the Social Media Clubhouse was the talk of Austin. A $5MM house on Lake Austin, it was a welcome retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the conference. A gathering place for influential social media leaders and web celebs to hang out and relax by the pool, listen to live music and start the night before heading out into a wild mix of parties and music. It was also a great place for brands like Intel, Coca-Cola, Molson, Awareness Networks, Moonfruit and others to mingle with these leaders and build relationships.
  • Social Media Club’s mantra is “If you get it, share it”. We have been sharing our knowledge, our insights and our good fortunes with social media leaders around the world since 2006. We hope you can join us and make #SMCH4 a smashing success!
