9. 9. Authority Blogging

Long lasting, not product based but rather Niche/Market based.

Build your brand from here.

Makes it easier to get Google rankings (the older the site, the better)

 10. 10. Authority Blogs

Keyword/product research

Plug-ins and themes

Content

On-page and Off-page SEO

Reviews, bonuses and Preselling

List Building

So we are going to cover the following:
 11. 11. Where To Begin

Need A Good Market

Need A Good Domain & Host.

Right Theme & Plugins

 12. 12. Choosing The Right Market

If you want to be an authority make sure you can find your niche inside your main niche. I.E. = Internet Marketing -> SEO -> Authority Blogging.

Make sure it’s a market that has money to spend.

“ Sell where people are buying!”
 13. 13. Choosing The Right Market

Look for popularity of product, physical or digital.

Make sure the product works (as you’re building a brand as well)

Commissions are good... you are going to be paid

 14. 14. Domains And Hosting For Authority Sites

Buy a Market focused domain:

Or your own name, if it’s available:

 15. 15. Blog Set Up

When you’ve installed the blog... Change The Following Settings.

Permalinks: Custom Structure: “%postname%”

Writing -> Update Services. (Go to and copy and paste the entire list into the Update Services box)

 16. 16. Blog Set Up

Delete The Following:

Hello World Post

Sample Page

All Links.

 17. 17.

A plugin is nothing more than an added tool to help your website out. On WordPress alone there are over 16,000+ plugins and growing daily.

Most are free but you do get premium ones as well.

Plugins
 18. 18. Plugin List (Essentials)

All in one SEO pack or Platinum SEO

Akismet

SEO friendly images

Easy Privacy Policy

Contact Form 7

Tinymce Advanced

 19. 19. Plugin List (Essentials)

Word Press-backup

Pretty link lite

Duplicate-post

Google xml sitemap generator

Google Analytics

Google xml video sitemap generator (optional)

No Follower -> Only found on Google

 20. 20. Themes

Themes, just like plugins there are loads of them. But most people don’t tell you that Themes can damage your SEO efforts. Some themes only let about 50% of your links get indexed...

I’ve only seen maybe 3 themes that give you an 80% link index (none can give you 100% because of the way themes are made).

 21. 21. Anchor Text

Anchor Text is the ultimate base of SEO and what we call “Link Juice”.

It is basically your keyword linked to your website. Example: ... copywriting.... copywriting... it appears as copywriting

Now if we are linking to an affiliate link or another “Authority site” such as Wikipedia, Google, etc. we use a rel=nofollow tag.

 22. 22. Videos

Quick and Easy way to be recognised online and make money.

Great for getting links to your site.

70% higher conversions on Videos than written copy/reviews.

Combine your videos with your blog to create a lot of content and also Authority.

 23. 23. Content

The Content is the king, emperor and dictator.

Writing relevant content will help you move up in search engines.

You need a combination of 3 types of content...

Product Reviews Profiles Of Notable Authorities In Your Market Person posts.

 24. 24. Content

You should make sure that you are posting 5 posts a week.

1-2 product reviews 2 profiles of authorities 1-2 personal posts

 25. 25. On-Page SEO

This is what you do on your website/blog to get noticed in search engines.

It’s only 10-20% of your site’s factors but it does have it’s benefits.

 26. 26. Off-Page SEO

Off-Page SEO is what 80-90%+ of your SEO will involve. This comes in the main use of Link Building.

Building links comes in a variety of forms...

This includes: Article marketing Video marketing Social Media marketing Email marketing

 27. 27. Backlink Rules:

The higher the PR (Page Rank) of the site you’re posting to, the better.

The more relevant the website to your own the better.

Posting to many links a day can kill your ranking and can get you barred

Nofollow and dofollow links both give you “Link Juice”

Vary your anchor text keywords, meaning have more than 1 relevant keyword in the post. e.g. - Macbook Pro, iMac, Apple.

 28. 28. Bonus and Review Posts

Bonus and Review posts must consist of:

Product Name review and product name bonus - each linking to the other.

A good keyword density.

Links to the main page of your site.

Use images and videos.

 29. 29. Other Sources For Links

Blog comments

Squidoo

Hubpages

Social bookmarking sites

Social Network Sites - Facebook/Twitter/YouTube

RSS aggregators

Articles

Web 2.0 Properties. E.g., Blogger, etc

 30. 30. Preselling

Is not selling the customer

It’s giving them a review of what your honest thoughts and opinions were of the product.

Should be scripted like a salesletter.

 31. 31. How To Write A Presell Page/Post

Start with the product... as in what it does.

Find a forum and see what people’s biggest heartbreaks are... you will always find them.

Use those heartbreaks inside your review copy.

Include a video if possible.

 32. 32. SEO Presell

Use the onpage factors plus keep a 3-5% target keyword density throughout copy.

Use subheads and pictures

Make sure you place the target keyword in the last sentence with a link to the product.

 33. 33. Bonuses

Always adds incentive to buy

Never make it so it discounts the product but rather adds value to it.

Do a split bonus. If you purchase $47 into this course I’ll give you this bonus worth $xx. If you invest into the upsells, I will give you this bonus worth $xxx. Act now as it’s limited to only 17 people.
