The DAQ Station Properties command is available from the shortcut icon shown here, as well as from the right-click menu and from the DAQ menu. Viewing DAQ Station Properties Use the following procedure to view the startup mode properties of the currently selected Server:
1 Open the Data Acquisition Con- nection Manager. Alternatively, select Start, Pro- grams, System 1, System 1 Data Acquisition2 Select and highlight a DAQ Server station. Select DAQ Station Properties from the right-click menu.3 Security rights are validated be- fore you can view the DAQ Sta- tion Properties.4 The properties dialog opens after security rights are validated. Se- lect the “Automatic” radio button and click OK.
That’s it! The system will now start automatically every time the server restarts.Description of DAQ Service start up modes: The Data Acquisition process for the selected station will not start unless you direct it Manual to, by selecting the Initiate command.
