  1. 1. Select ‘Groups’Then ‘Find Groups’ Now search for ‘The Alton College Magazine’ and request to join this group
  2. 2. Under ‘Groups’Select ‘The Alton College Magazine’
  3. 3. The forums are under ‘Forums’This is the discussion for the new name. Please add lots of suggestions! And feel free to start a new discussion if it’s relevant...
  4. 4. In ‘My Portfolio’......under ‘My Views’... ...select ‘Create View’
  5. 5. Select ‘Blog’......and drag it down here
  6. 6. Tick the box next to your blog Then hit ‘Save’, then ‘Next’
  7. 7. Put your name in hereAnd hit ‘Next’
  8. 8. Change this from ‘Users’ to ‘Groups’ Next to the name of the magazine, you will be able to choose who can see yourSearch for ‘The Alton College work. It’s up to you whether Magazine’ you choose ‘Everyone in Group’ or ‘Admin’. Then click the little Add button next to it.
  9. 9. Click ‘Save’, and that’s it.You should end up with something looking like this.
  10. 10. Under My Blogs now... You can click ‘Add Post’ and start writing articles. Anything that you add to this blog is visible to The Alton College Magazine. You can create new blogs, but unless you add them to the View you just set up, only you can see them.
