Emmanuel, God With Us Presentation Transcript

  • 1. Emmanuel, GOD WITH US! Matthew 1:23 Great Commission Ministry
  • 2. Isaiah 7:14
    • Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
  • 3. Matthew 1:23
    • Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel , which being interpreted is, God with us.
  • 4. Isaiah 35:3-6
    • 3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
    • 4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance , even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
  • 5.
    • 5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
    • 6 Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
  • 6. Matthew 11:2-6
    • 2 Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,
    • 3 And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?
    • 4 Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:
  • 7.
    • 5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
    • 6 And blessed is he , whosoever shall not be offended in me.
  • 8. 1 Timothy 3:16
    • And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh , justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
  • 9. John 3:16
    • For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son , that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
  • 10. Isaiah 42:8
    • I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another , neither my praise to graven images.
  • 11. Isaiah 43:10-11
    • 10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me , and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
    • 11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
  • 12. I John 3:16
    • Hereby perceive we the love of God , because he laid down his life for us : and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
  • 13. Hebrews 9:16-17
    • 16 For where a testament is , there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
    • 17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
  • 14. Romans 5:8-9
    • 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners , Christ died for us.
    • 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
  • 15. Luke 1:67-68
    • 67 And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,
    • 68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people
  • 16. Psalms 37:4
    • Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
  • 17. Mark 12:41-44
    • 41 And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.
    • 42 And there came a certain poor widow , and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
  • 18.
    • 43 And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:
    • 44 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.
  • 19. Matthew 2:1-11
    • 1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem ,
    • 2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east , and are come to worship him.
  • 20.
    • 3 When Herod the king had heard these things , he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
    • 4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.
  • 21.
    • 5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,
    • 6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.
  • 22.
    • 7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.
    • 8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him , bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.
  • 23.
    • 9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
    • 10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
  • 24.
    • 11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down , and worshipped him : and when they had opened their treasures , they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
