  • 6. Andrew Woo Director
    • Andrew has fifteen years of experience in the electronics industry before joining the recruitment industry in 1996. He is a specialist in technology including electronics, semiconductors, telecommunications, manufacturing and system engineering.
    • He started his career with Matsushita/Panasonic, one of the world largest electronics makers. He was responsible for the sales and marketing of active and passive components, computer peripherals, battery, motor and sub-systems in S.E Asia. After over 10 years in the company, he then joined a homegrown international contract manufacturer, PCI Limited, to develop their Asia-Pacific business. He successfully developed new revenue streams from Japan, Taiwan and Australia in the manufacturing of telecommunication products and electronic devices.
    • Prior to founding SP Alliance, he has been a Director for a Singapore-based search company and Managing Consultant of an international recruitment company. He had completed successful placements of technical professionals including Managing Director of a semiconductor assembly and test manufacturing, R&D engineers/managers, sales and marketing positions; middle and senior management including corporate appointments such as CFO, Quality Director and HR Director. These positions were based in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan and China, and regional head offices.
    • Andrew holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of South Australia.

  • 7. Eden Chan Senior Consultant
    • Eden has twenty-five years of experience in the electronics industry before joining the recruitment industry in March 2011. He is an engineering professional in volume manufacturing of computer printers and hard-disk drives specialized in test equipment maintenance, cleanroom assembly process, test process, product engineering and new product launch management.
    • He started his career with Printronix AG, a commercial computer printer manufacturer. He was responsible for the overall test equipment setup and maintenance. After 5 years in the company, he then joined a HDD manufacturer, Conner Peripherals, to manage both Cleanroom and Test Area process, equipment setup, failure analysis and auto-disposition for High-End IDE & SCSI Drive products. He successfully transferred the Manufacturing Engineering team to integrate and merge with Seagate Technology after the acquisition and relocation to AMK manufacturing facility in year 1996.
    • Prior to joining SP Alliance, he was a Senior Manager/Product Engineering Lead for High-End Enterprise Storage products in Seagate. He successfully managed and launched a new 2.5” Enterprise HDD product from US design center to AMK engaging from final design stage to volume production. He also successfully led the Product and System engineering teams to meeting Test Yields, Test Time, Quality and Reliability metrics for three other Enterprise products. With his many years of engineering experience in the high volume manufacturing industry, he has the competencies needed to be a successful Executive Search Professional.
    • Eden holds a Diploma in Management Studies from Singapore Institute of Management and a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
