  • CTU issues: Reduced time for report card pick-up (incorrect – same amount of time as this year) No PD days in the year (incorrect – 4 Teacher Institute days, 1 at the end of each quarter) School begins with 9 uninterrupted weeks of school (correct, 5-day weeks improve student attendance, get students into the swing of schools, and eases childcare concerns for parents)

  • Specific features of the Track E calendar include:The school year will begin on Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, and end on Monday, June 17, 2013. Both days are full days of school for students.Placement of vacation breaks (intercessions) in the Track E calendar will now fall at the end of academic quarters.
