VisitBritain Olympic Programme 12 th to 16 th Aug – Nations and Regions Education programme - 26 N&amp;R reps in attendance 14 th Aug – Launch of the London 2012 Pre-Games Training Camp Guide – 110 of 204 NOCs attended – event in partnership with LOCOG, BOA and Nations &amp; Regions 15 th Aug – Chinese travel trade and media – 190 trade &amp; media attended event in partnership with Visit London and Nations &amp; Regions 19 th Aug – HK business trade &amp; tourism event – 45+ key business and trade contacts – event in partnership with UKTI 23 rd Aug – UK ‘Be a part of it’ – PM’s ‘eve of handover’ speech, 650+ VIPs – joint Public Diplomacy partner event (VB, FCO, UKTI, BC) 9 th to 24 th Aug - London House partnership – Support for 2 week events programme with London partners including handover Training Camp guide launch Travel Trade event

VisitBritain Paralympic Programme 13 th to 18 th Aug – Nations and Regions Education programme - 13 N&amp;R reps in attendance 15 th Sept – Launch of the London 2012 Pre-Games Training Camp Guide – 280 guests in total from IPC, NPCs, IFs – event in partnership with LOCOG, BPA and Nations &amp; Regions 16 th Sept – London/Britain media event – 58 accredited international &amp; UK media attended 16 th Sept – Welcome to London / Welcome to Britain event – 79 guests from IPC, BPA &amp; other Paralympic stakeholders in attendance 17 th Sept – LDA partnership – London/Britain events in partnership with LDA – support for Paralympic handover event Training camp guide launch Media event

VisitBritain China Review <ul><li>Review will recommend way forward for China from 2009 to 2012 </li></ul><ul><li>Seeking inputs from experts (e.g. UK travel industry, strategic partners) </li></ul><ul><li>Final report in March 2009 </li></ul><ul><li>Describe size &amp; shape of China opportunity </li></ul><ul><li>Recommend 2009-2012 marketing strategy </li></ul><ul><li>Recommend most effective VisitBritain operational structure to deliver strategy </li></ul>
