Seven-year pro Jake Dowell is coming off a two-goal performance in Iowa’s last game at Charlotte on Sunday. Right wing The 23-year-old’s markers in back-to-back games marks the second time in his AHL career he has scored goals in consecutive outings (Dec. 26-30, 2011). The Vernon, British Columbia, native collected 4 goals, 8 assists, and 12 points in 62 AHL games with the Peoria Rivermen last season. Center The 28-year-old forward has tallied 3 points (2G, A) and a +3 plus/minus rating in four games this year. The Eau Claire, Wis., native skated in 102 games with the Chicago Blackhawks from 2007-11, posting 9 goals and 26 points.
