Q
Is the bottle going to be very expensive?
Will it be heavy?
How is the compartment thing going to work?
What is BPA and Colic and how does your bottle prevent them both?
Why don’t we use a digital thermometer instead?
The bottle will not be feasible for more than one feeding. Will it still be useful?
Is it already in the market?
& A
It might be more expensive than normal bottles as we’re using better quality plastic(BPA free) and the other compartments are available in our bottle but not the cheaper bottles. However, using our bottle will not require thermos or milk powder container so costs can be saved there. Opp. Costs with regards to convenience.
It’s still plastic. It might be slightly heavier due to the compartment below, but not by very much.
The compartment would be….(fark I do not know!!)
The digital thermometer would require batteries so washing the bottle would be a prob. Also, it might not be safe for a baby to drink from something that has an “electronic” part to it.
The aim of our bottle is to provide convenience for short trips so that the mother need not carry additional stuff for the feeding. The purpose is for a one time feed made easy.
Not an all in one like ours.(:
INFANT COLIC
INFANT COLIC is a condition in which an otherwise healthy baby cries or screams frequently and for extended periods.
Plausible cause: gastric discomforts caused by sucking in too much air when feeding
Solution: Our bottle will have valves at the teats to prevent the baby from sucking in too much air.
BPA

BISPHENOL A is a chemical in plastic types 1 and 2 that is hazardous to humans
Cannot be used for warm milk as the chemical will dissolve into the milk and risk the baby’s health.
May lead to early onset of puberty, obesity, diabetes and impaired immune functions among other problems due to very low does of BPA
Wal-Mart and Toys r Us all stop carrying bottles with BPA in it
Solution: Our bottle will be made will plastic type 5 that does not contain BPA.
