Advice to Internship Prep Seminar <ul><li>Let others know that you are searching for an internship </li></ul><ul><li>Keep in touch and maintain relationships </li></ul><ul><li>Never limit yourself. You can’t aim too high! </li></ul><ul><li>Brainstorm to expand horizons of internship search </li></ul><ul><li>Inquire about internships at companies or institutions that you admire </li></ul><ul><li>Once you secure an internship, research the company further and complete as much of the Fashion Intern textbook as you can </li></ul><ul><li>Research other university's websites </li></ul><ul><li>Look for internships in locations you enjoy being in </li></ul><ul><li>Reflect on courses you excelled at and enjoyed and look specifically for internships in these fields </li></ul><ul><li>Start inquiring now—call for information, stop by the location to meet HR, become a part of the network </li></ul><ul><li>Relax and have confidence in yourself. </li></ul>
