    28. 31. 1) New technologies are reshaping how “texts” are created, stored, and distributed.    2)  These changes are posing challenges to copyright, intellectual property rights, and education.    3)  Using media for “educational purposes” does NOT legally allow educators to ignore copyright. 4)  There are many free, “copyright safe” websites that provide teachers and students with legal access to digital media.  5)  It is important to model ethical uses of technology and teach the skills students need to participate courteously and safely as cybercitizens.  Summary
