Developing with the webAdding the audio right now and you will see. Also, "old info" is a very subjective definition - something I really learned at this conference!3 months ago

7 Reasons why web development is running in circlesMike, I feel for you. I worked in an agency in the past with Tridion, RedDot, Vignette and Documentum. Ah yeah, and jumping from framework to framework (.net 1.1,hibernate,spring...) My main issue there was that maintenance was never a real concern and outsourced without controlling the quality. So my 300 lines of CSS over time grew into 7500 with class names like "leftBold663"2 years ago

Planning JavaScript and Ajax for larger teamsKaa, yes and no - I made my point clearer in my talk. What I was saying is that you shouldn’t go on and create something that has been done before and does the job just because you can do it better whilst being in the development cycle. Furthermore I pointed out that it does make sense to change code but a lot more so after you talked it through in the team.
This is also where the first assumption comes into play: don’t hold back if you think there should be a change, tell the team about it.
I will cease to use "reinvent the wheel", it is a terribly loaded and overused expression.2 years ago
