25. 26. Rashi

1. We count years from Tishrei, following the opinion of Rabbi Eliezer, that G‑d created the world in Tishrei. Hence, the Flood was in the 600th year of Noah. That year began in Tishrei, not Nisan.

2. We count seasons and annual cycles of the sun and moon from Nisan.

Therefore since Birkat HaChamah depends upon the place of the sun at the time of its creation, i.e., seasons and cycles of the sun, we follow Rabbi Yehoshua’s opinion that G‑d the created the world in Nisan.

 26. 27. Bottom Line

The sun was created on the fourth day of creation.

This means the very beginning of Wednesday (end of Tuesday) at 6:00pm.

A solar year is 365 days and 6 hours.

Every 28 years the spring equinox is Wednesday at 6:00pm

 46. 49. Gemara Pesachim About Erev Pesach

Another objection was made: It is written: "And as in the light of morning the sun will rise," so we see that “or” means "day." Does it say "Or Boker" (light is morning)? It says, "Uchor Boker," which means "as the light of the morning," which means: "As the light of the morning in this world; so will the sun shine for the righteous in the world to come."

 47. 50. Rashi

As the light of the morning: Like the light of the crack of dawn in this world, so will be the sunrise in the World to Come.

 48. 51. The “Crack” of Dawn from Outer Space
 49. 52. Tosfos

As the light of the morning: Like the light of midday in this world, so will be the crack of dawn in the World to Come.

 50. 53. Meaning

Sunrise = Now. The time of Moshiach, before the complete revelation of Moshiach.

Crack of Dawn = Breaking out of limitations of golus, world and our yetzer hara . The transition from golus to geulah. A slight revelation of (our) etzem .

Midday = Complete geulah . When the etzem will be revealed everywhere like day.

 51. 54. Rashi

Simple interpretation for regular people.

The avodah of a benoni and a baal teshuvah .

The posuk tells us that even now, before Moshiach is completely here, we can reveal the etzem to help us win the war with our yetzer hara .

Iskafya

 52. 55. Tosfos

Deeper interpretation for Torah people.

The avodah of a tzaddik .

The posuk tells us that through breaking out of our boundaries, we will reveal the etzem everywhere, transforming the entire world.

No more darkness or evil.

Ishapcha.
