This slide describes the research I referenced in the Q&A following David Armano's presentation at Conversations About the Future of Advertising on April 27th @ the Fine Line in Minneapolis. While measures of ROI and Brand Affinity have yet to be perfected online and in social media, this slide clearly describes the disparity between ad spending and consumer engagement. My point is that an immediate, significant opportunity exists in realigning ad spending to better match consumer engagement and that advertisers waiting for ROI and Brand Affinity measures risk missing out. less
