In Israel (according to Google Tel Aviv): YouTube is the third most popular site after Google and Facebook YouTube has 3.5 Million views/month in Israel 20% of visitors to YouTube are using a mobile device (that's 1 in 5!) YouTube is the #1 app on iPhones in Israel 30-40% of Israeli YouTube users are subscribers on YouTube
  • 3. YouTube is the number two search engine today after Google. There are 600 million video views per month and more than six billion hours of video watched each month More than 200 million hours of video are watched each day Millions of subscriptions happen each day, and the number of people subscribing has more than doubled since last year. There is a plethora of new content with 100 hours of video uploaded to YouTube every minute.
  • 4. Internationally, 100 million people watch online video every day
  • 5. Last summer consumers watched over 48 billion online videos, 7.4 billion minutes of which were advertisements
  • 6. According to Forbes, 59% of executives would rather watch video than read text
  • 7. 64% of users are more likely to buy a product online after watching a video
  • 8. 80% of users can recall a video ad they viewed in the past 30 days
  • 9. Email Marketing: When “video” is used in the subject line of an email, open rates increased by 7%.
  • 10. Email Marketing: E-mails with video saw a 5.6% higher open rate and a 96.4% higher click-through rate than those without.
  • 11. Video promotion is 600% more effective than print and online ads
  • 12. Video content is shared, on average, 1,200% more than links and text combined
  • 13. Just 22% of businesses plan on releasing a video within the next 12 months.
