proper Sanitation
• Women walk on average 6km a day to fetch water in
the developing world
• Every 15 seconds, a child dies from water-related
diseases. (total: 5000 deaths/day, 2.1m deaths/year)
• 88% of diseases in the developing world are water-
related.
