How Long To Build Muscle Mass - Muscle Gaining Secrets - Presentation Transcript
Your food or nutrient intake, exercise
and lifestyle, and genetics are just
some of the factors that you may have
to consider when trying to find out
how long to build muscle mass.
Another important factor that you may
have to look into, though, is your body
type. There are three common body
types – endomorphic, mesomorphic,
ectomorphic.

The endomorph may be pictured as a person with a naturally
big body frame, round face, wide hips, big bones, and slow
metabolism. Normally, an endomorph would gain weight and
body fat easier than with other body types. But then again,
an endomorph also has the potential for gaining muscle
mass quickly. What an endomorph has to do first, though, is
to cut away body fats or to burn off the fats in order to
reveal the muscle definition that is hiding beneath them. For
example, he would have to burn off the fats from his tummy
first before he could show off his six pack abs that may be
hiding beneath his tummy fat.
The mesomorph, on the other hand, may be pictured as a
person who is blessed with a naturally muscular body, wide
shoulders, small waist, athletic body frame structure, low
body fat, and a somewhat high metabolism. It will not take
a long time for a mesomorph to pack on muscles. If a
mesomorph trains, eats, and rests correctly, he will visibly
see his muscles growing week after week right before his
eyes before hitting a body building plateau.
Lastly, the ectomorph may be pictured as a skinny person,
with small muscles, narrow shoulders, hips, and waist, and
very high metabolism. It will be more difficult for an
ectomorph to put on weight and gain muscles no matter how
much he eats. For this reason, ectomorphs are also called
hard gainers.
How long to build muscle mass? Well, it really depends on
several factors, including the type of body you have.
