  • charlescoleiii Charles Cole, Bay Area Program Director at Juma Hey Livia, basically the presentation was about messaging and how we don't allow people to get a sense of who we are or where we come from. I explain where I came from and how I essentially became who I am today. The other point I made during the presentation was to get away from labels. So you'll notice that in the 3/4 slides. It's hard to get the true essence without me giving the presentation. 9 months ago

  • ah_livia ah_livia Very nice imagery! The images you used were SO strong and crisp they told 99% of the story! Good job! ...but...I really didn't understand what exactly made you a black progressive? Do you mind explaining? Thanks 9 months ago

  • thperson Troy Person, CEO at Reliant In-Home Care We all do better when we give a hand up to the most vulnerable among us. I've seen on a rare occasion someone lift themselves up by their boot straps and on both occasions it was during a Cirque du Soleil show. Power to the Progressive that brought women, black/minorities the right to vote, safety and democracy in the workplace (OSHA & labor unions), protect public health, (FDA, EPA,) poverty insurance for our elderly (Social Security) and now a step towards universal healthcare/Obamacare, and yes he does care :) 9 months ago
