    • Term One reflection
    • Describe your performance in L.A. for term one.
    • In term one I put in a lot of effort in my work. I made sure that my work was handed in on time so it shouldn't be marked late. In all L.A. classes I stayed on task and stayed focused. I especially stayed focused during group or partner work.
    • **Two stars- Name two things that you did really well this term.
    • Two things I did well in this term are taking down notes for my famous birthday report and doing comprehension and discussing questions. I did well on those because for my famous birthday report I found all the information needed and there was a lot of detail. I did well on comprehension and discussion questions because I explained my answers and had all the criteria needed.
    • 3. *One Wish- Name one way in which you could improve in term 2.
    • In term 2 I can improve by editing my work at least twice to check if there is no mistake.

  5. Famous Birthday Report
    • The Steps To Complete My Famous Birthday Report
    • First, I chose a person to do from the website http://www.famousbirthdays.com
    • After that, I began to research the person and take notes.
    • When I completed my notes, I wrote a rough draft.
    • Next, I got my report edited by a classmate.
    • After it got edited, I had a conference with Mrs.Boyd
    • Lastly, I typed up my final draft for my report.

  6. Literary Response Project
    • To do a Literary Response Project, you first need to read a book.
    • Then, you make 3 reading responses on the book
    • After that, you choose an activity from the list you have in you’re reading response duotang (eg. Diary, Stamp, Clothesline.etc)
    • After you’ve chosen an activity, you do a rough draft
    • Next, you get it edited by a classmate
    • Then, you make a final copy
    • Lastly, you get into a group assessment.

  7. The Outsiders
    • The Outsiders is a book that we read by S.E. Hinton.
    • For each chapter, there would be a set of questions regarding the book.
    • When we were done reading the whole book, we had to choose from five activities to do (eg. Scrapbook, Newspaper Article, etc.)
    • After we were done the project, we were assessed by our classmates.

    • Helping the kindergardeners to write
    • When I go to the kindergarden room I help them learn to spell words correctly.

    • For picture retake day I helped get the students who need to take their picture, write down their information, & set things up.
