  • The window that you see is the friendly graphical Project Manager for ERDAS LPS. The chosen camera solution is Digital and the SW provides it in the list.
  • After the selection the desired projection we add the images in the project process by making pyramids on line.
  • By knowing the camera’s parameters we can edit the focal length.
  • Edit the pixel size of the images.
  • We start point measurement of GCP’s and tie points.
  • And of course we run automatic tie point measurement.
  • By forming the deviation needed and editing all parameters that photogrametrically can give us the best results for the block adjustment we go to the “solve” and triangulation summary with the expected results.

Dpi: dots per inch Lpi: lines per inch RIP: Raster Image Processor Halftoning / screening: process of converting continuous tone images into black and white information (halftone dots) suitable for reproducing the image. Digital Printing Technology Laser technology: the light source used in the print head is a laser. The deflected laser beam creates the latent image to be printed. LED technology: the light source used in the print head is a light emitting diode array (LED array, an array with a fixed number of LEDs). The LEDs pulse the light through focusing lenses across the entire image width. Contone images or line work can therefore not be printed without converting them to a series of dots. This is done by the RIP (raster image processor), a component of the digital front-end. Halftoning or screening is a process that converts a bitmap containing dots of 8 bits per process color in a bitmap containing dots with fewer bits per color.
