    • Compare the sources of knowledge for nursing clinical practice within three hospitals in Northern Italy with different Evidence-Based Nursing/Evidence-Based Practice (EBN/EBP) background

    • We sent 2642 questionnaires to nurses who care for patients within the following hospitals :
    • Policlinico S. Orsola-Malpighi in Bologna
    • Arcispedale S. Anna in Ferrara
    • Treviso Hospital

    • Within the Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria di Bologna, questionnaires have only been given to EBN-trained personnel

  • CONCLUSION 25/10/10 Master in EBP e Metodologia della Ricerca Clinico-assistenziale Research use is quite uncommon for Italian nurses. EBP courses overcome differences of clinical experience regarding knowledge source use in nurses clinical practice. Further studies will tell us if EBP training really increases quality of decision making. Ferrara Italy
