It is open ICU which Caters patients multiorgan failure, polytrauma, septic shock, cardiogenic shock ,ARDS ,post -op and poisning .I have independent admission rights. Responsibilities include triage, workup, management and follow-up of critically ill patients. At present I take daily call. I am involved in management of directly admitted and referral patients .I prefer to stay along with unstable patients until they are stablised. At present my job is like 24*7 type of job. DNB (Fellowship)Critical Care Medicine (Aug’03-Oct’05 ) Manipal Hospital, Bangalore, India ( 675 beded Hospital) The two year training course recognised by National Board of Examination New Delhi, involved working in 19 beded closed tertiary referral ICU, staffed by three full time intensivists. Admission for training was through common entrance test. Responsibilities included triage, workup, management and follow-up of critically ill patients, including those with sepsis, shock, trauma, airway disease, drug overdose, poisning, surgical complications and obstetric complications. Degree is awarded through exit theory and practical examination at completion of the course. Senior Registrar – (April’03-Aug’03) Apollo Hospital Ahmedabad, India Main responsibility was to take care patients of shock ,polytrauma, ventilated patients, post CABG, and poisning patiets, along with admitting consultants . I also did Echocadiogram. Senior Resident – Cardiology (Aug ’01 –Aug ’02) Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre, New Delhi, India (600 beded Hospital)  Served as resident running the heart command (ICCU) in conjunction with visiting consultants  Cared for both cardiac patients and general intensive-care patients.  Transfer of sick patients by airlift/road from various hospitals in well-equipped ambulances  Participating in Community Outreach Program in form of Camps to provide advanced cardiac care at the doorstep of patients Resident Medical Officer, Internal Medicine (April ’98 –May ‘01) B.R.D.
