After high school, I plan to go to Shorter University tostudy Christian Studies. Once I complete that I will go on to New Orleans BaptistTheological Seminary and become a youth pastor. I chose my senior project of teachingfour weeks on a guys Bible study called Cornerstone. I chose this because it will give mean idea of what my job will be like as a youth pastor. The product of my project was leading the four weeks of Cornerstone. My research wason problems that youth deal with today. It did not relate to my final product as much as Iwanted it to, but I did get a main theme from it, leadership. During the process, I had tochange plans many times, but staying flexible helped me finish my product and in mymind make it a success. Not only did I learn to deal with these temporary problems, butthis taught me that not everything goes according to plan, so back up plans are needed. My research taught me that many adults that lead us today feel that my generation is alost cause. They say that we will never live up to our full potential and fail at being theleaders we need to be, so the lessons I taught related to becoming a good leader. Thisrelates to my post secondary endeavors as I will be a youth pastor and leading the youthof a church. I plan to major in full time ministry at Shorter University which will haveleadership classes as part of my course load. After Shorter, I will be going to NOBTSwhich will also have classes on leadership.I have learned many skills from my senior project that I will be using for my wholecareer. The project was very useful and a great experience in my opinion. Thank you foryour time and I hope you have a nice day.Sincerely,Chandler McCall
