  2. 2. History: How it Began Ped Corporation has been making shoes for that last ten years. It’s founder, Peder Schues, began his company from his home. He started by turning old tires into flip flops.

History: From Local to Global The company soon expanded into making more than flip flops. When Ped Corporation started making sneakers, that was when the company became a multinational corporation. To keep costs down, Peder created satellite companies in other countries to manufacture the shoes.
