Area is 10,180,000 km2 and Population is 739,165,030However, its strategic position in relation to Asia and Africa, as well as navigable rivers and fertile soil, have made Europe a dominant economic, social, and cultural force throughout recorded history.
  4. 4. LOCATION Europe is bordered by the Arctic Ocean to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the west, the Mediterranean Sea to the south, and the Black Sea and connected waterways to the southeast
  5. 5. PENINSULAS IN EUROPE Europe has 6 peninsulas 1. Iberia Peninsular, like Spain and Portugal. 2. Italian Peninsular, like Itary. 3. Jutland Peninsular, like Denmark. 4. Scandinavia Peninsular ,like Sweden, Finland. And Norway. 5. Balkan Peninsular , like Greece. 6. Bristish Isles, like Scotland, England and Ireland.

  7. 7. MEDITERRANEAN CLIMATE This type of climate is hot and dry This type of climate can be found in South Europe, like Spain, Itary, Greece and Turkey
  8. 8. TAIGA CLIMATE This type of climate is cold winter. This type of climate can be found in Scandinavian Like Finland, Norway, Sweden
  9. 9. TUNDRA CLIMATE The types of climate is characterized by harsh winters . and a short summer season. This climate can be found in the northern parts of the European continent, like A part of Russia

  13. 13. GEOLOGICAL FEATURES Low Ancient Mountain Shields Zone of ancient rocks have been eroded for a long time. can be found in the north and northwestern part of Europe. These baltic ancient rocks became low mountains, forming the Scandinavian Peninsular.

The Pyrenees, Alps and Carpathians PLAINS These are coastal plains which are created by sedimentation of glaciers. The Great European Plain which stretches in an arc from western France to the Urals.

  20. 20. NATURAL RESOURCES Europe has many natural resources, each country blessed with their own specialty. Germany is rich in iron, coal, and natural gas. The land of Belgium produces some of the world's construction materials such as carbonates and silica sand. Italy contains some of Europe's most important natural resources: marble, pumice, mercury, zinc, nickel, pyrite, sulfur, salt, uraniam, and copper.
