I. Facts about the organisation CEYPA – Civic Education Youth Program 2011, Ceypa .
<ul><li>Civic Education Youth Programme in Albania [CEYPA] is a civil society organisation that empowers citizens and induces them to become more active. In order to achieve this mission, the non-profit organization CEYPA conducts researches, informal education, advocacy, international exchange and cooperation and promotes volunteerism </li></ul>Mission
<ul><li>Research on youth-related topics & social exclusion </li></ul><ul><li>Non-formal education and empowerment of youth </li></ul><ul><li>Electoral campaigns in order to increase voter turnout amongst minorities and unrepresented groups </li></ul>Fields of activity
<ul><li>Informal educational program for youth on topics like social integration, role of youth in society, gender issues, human rights etc. and practically usable skills in the planning and carrying out of social actions, advocacy; strategic planning; </li></ul><ul><li>Education for young Roma in order to increase the participation of youth in decision-making processes; topics: community development, advocacy, electoral campaigning etc. </li></ul><ul><li>Social Integration program of Roma community in Tirana </li></ul><ul><li>International and regional co-operation in the initiatives related to participatory community development, poverty reduction with UNDP, UNICEF and World Bank as well as local CS actors </li></ul>Projects to date
II. Project to be presented CEYPA – Civic Education Youth Program Endri Ndini 2011, Ceypa .
<ul><li>Type of project : W orkshops and accompanying trainer's manuals, survey and analysis </li></ul><ul><li>Target group : Y outh members of communities, unions, NGOs, students’ organisations and local government </li></ul><ul><li>Duration : 12 months </li></ul><ul><li>Geographic coverage : 7 regions in Kosovo: Prishtina, Gjakova, Prizren, Peja, Mitrovica, Gjilan, Ferizaj </li></ul>
<ul><li>To promote public participation and civic involvement of youth in the decision-making processes on the local level; </li></ul><ul><li>To encourage youth from different ethnic groups to co-operate and run joint advocacy campaigns with special emphasis on European integration and good governance; </li></ul><ul><li>To improve knowledge and skills for running advocacy campaigns; </li></ul><ul><li>To improve skills for developing resources and services for advocacy and public awareness on European citizenship; </li></ul>Objectives
