  • Unique Academic Affiliation projects! •  Co-production between WWI & NYU Tisch Asia – students from both institutions got together to produce a 10-minute short in 2010. This was undertaken without any aid from either governments! •  Co-production between WWI and Bradford College UK – students from the Animation specialisation of WWI and the still photography specialisation of Bradford came together to produce a 3-minute animated stop-motion film. This was supported by a grant from UKEIRI.! •  WWI is currently supporting a unique documentary project undertaken by students of Columbia on the great Indian Wedding.! •  WWI is in the midst of a co-production with University of Calgary for a 10-20 minute short film to be shot digitally in both Calgary and Mumbai. This is being supported by a grant from the Government of Alberta.!

  • Key Achievements - Snapshot!•  In 2010, Whistling Woods International was listed amongst the 10 best film schools in the world by ‘The Hollywood Reporter’, along side institutes like NYU Tisch, NFTS, FAMU & AFTRS. WWI was the youngest school to be featured.!•  Sony, the world’s largest M&E company has recognised WWI as a leader in the Media & Entertainment sector globally and chosen to partner with us in 2011 to set up their 3rd ‘Sony Media Technology Centre’ in the world. The SMTC at WWI has been focusing on new and emerging technology in the fields of Digital Cinematography for Film & TV and 3D stereoscopic filmmaking.!•  WWI has been invited to setup campuses in UK, Spain, Nigeria, Singapore and South Africa by key universities, Federal & Provincial governments and large Media conglomerates.!•  WWI has, on invitation from the Ministry of Human Resource Development - Government of India, been designing curricula for the CBSE board (India’s premier High School board) for Media Studies.!
  • Key Achievements - Snapshot!•  In 2010, WWI was accepted as a full member of CILECT (Centre International de Liaison des Ecoles de Cinéma et de Télévision) – a global association of film schools, which lays very high standards on admitting members (out of the 3000+ film schools in the world, CILECT has accepted only 150 schools as members)!•  In early 2012, the SMPTE (Society of Motion Pictures and Television Engineers), which is the worlds largest association of Film & TV professionals and the primary global association of M&E professionals, chose WWI to be their partner to set up a India section of the SMPTE. WWI is the base and location for the SMPTE in India.!•  Almost 15% of WWI’s student body comprises international students. This is in comparison to less than 1% for the rest of India.!•  WWI has graduated over 750 students till date with over 90% of them gainfully employed in several leading Indian & global Media & Entertainment organisations!
