    1. Web 2.0 or Social Media? Pretty much the same thing, Web 2.0 refers to the technologies that Social Media uses. The underlying theme is collaboration Technologists will tend to use “Web 2.0” more often in conversation because their focus is on the technology and feature sets. It’s all about the tools. Marketers will use “Social Media” more often in conversation because these tools are simply another medium to get their message across. Its all about getting the right message out.
    2. What the Heck is a Blog? A blog (short for weblog) is a personal online journal that is frequently updated and intended for general public consumption Blogs generally represent the personality of the author or reflect the purpose of the Web site that hosts the blog The author of a blog is often referred to as a blogger. Many blogs syndicate their content to subscribers using RSS, a popular content distribution tool. (i.e. CNN, Larry King, etc.)

All blogs are interconnected via the Internet & socially networked, through blogrolls, comments, linkbacks and backlinks.     16. A Final Warning FaceBook & MySpace have reputations as productivity killers in workplace. Many companies block their employees from accessing these sights from their business networks. Get access permission first, so you don’t get in trouble.
