  3. 3. Global Warming <ul><li>It’s a big problem, that is destroying our world. </li></ul><ul><li>We are doing it bigger and bigger every moment, when we drive, when we travel by aeroplane, by boat. When we cut down trees, and burn forests. When we let in the ground radioactive materials, like batteries, or paint with aerosol cans. The factories also pollute the air freeing a toxic smoke. </li></ul><ul><li>So we have to be responable of this, because is everybody’s problem. Read “How to stop Global Warming” to help us making a cleaner world. </li></ul>

How will it affect the Earth? <ul><li>The ice in the poles will melt, and the level of water in the oceans will rise. </li></ul><ul><li>There will be more and bigger floods, and might some cities and islands will disappear, under the sea. </li></ul><ul><li>In summer the ice will melt, there will be more floods, and in winter, the water may freeze. </li></ul><ul><li>The ozon layer will have a huge hole. </li></ul><ul><li>The temperature will increase </li></ul>

  6. 6. Air pollution <ul><li>The factory fumes contaminate the air. </li></ul><ul><li>The smog, it’s a smoke produced by burning too much oil. </li></ul><ul><li>Aerosol cans, free a toxic gas called CFC, that hurt the ozon layer. </li></ul>Pictures
  7. 7. Water pollution <ul><li>The boats drop oil, it gets to the coast and kill animals. </li></ul><ul><li>The factories free a chemical wastes and also the people throws the rubbish on the water and it pollute oceans and rivers </li></ul>Pictures

What can I do to stop it? <ul><li>Do not waste energy, turn off all the lights you’re not using, shut down the computer at night. </li></ul><ul><li>Don’t waste water. </li></ul><ul><li>Don’t throw papers and bottles in the street. </li></ul><ul><li>Put all the old batteries in a bag and make it hermetich, then throw it. </li></ul><ul><li>Don’t use aerosol cans. </li></ul><ul><li>Recycle what you can. </li></ul>
