The Red Cross Ready Rating program provides a free, online tool to help businesses and organizations assess their emergency preparedness level and make annual improvements. Participants complete a readiness assessment to determine their "Ready Rating 123" score. They then develop or enhance response plans, conduct hazard assessments, and integrate preparedness into their culture. Members track their progress, gain recognition, and help their community be better prepared for disasters. In pilot programs, members improved their scores by an average of 47% after two years and found the program easy to use.
