World Meteorological Association (WMO) now actively seeking to establish proactive links with holders of traditional knowledge (farmers, pastoralists fishing communities, and hunter gatherers)2. Diverse communities of natural resource users participate in national adaptation platforms and regional climate outlook forums

Going to scale1. National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) in place, which recognise the value and authority of traditional knowledge2. scientific and traditional predictive knowledge systems are used synergistically in climate change adaptation policy making, review and monitoring3. Governance issues and rights going beyond impact of climate change are addressed
