    6. Slides = Slides Documents = Documents
    7. It’s better to do each well than to try and do them both at once.
    8. Bullet points don’t bore people. People speaking from bullet points bore people.
    9. There is no excuse for clip art.
    10. A typical academic slide • Lots of textually dense bullets and long passages • Repetitive points (instead of reinforcing) • Weak graphics, subordinated to text • Assembled as an afterthought
