Broadcasting Message to Directors <ul><li>The Centre for Foreign Languages has acquired 1,000 individual user licences for an updated version of Rosetta Stone, a web-based self-study software. The licences are available in any of the languages listed below. An integral element of this new version of Rosetta Stone is enhanced voice recognition. Each licence provides learners with a choice of training from beginner level to “elementary plus”. </li></ul><ul><li>The Foreign Languages Resource centres invites personnel interested in learning or maintaining a foreign language to contract learner-cfsl@international.gc.ca indicating the language you wish to learn. Please note that Rosetta Stone Online will not be accessible from your office computer (Signet) as it requires the installation of external applications. In terms of Official Languages, the licences are available for either English (American or British) or French. An integral element of this new version of Rosetta Stone is enhanced voice recognition. This means that you will be able to practice your reading comprehension, writing skills as well as oral interaction skills. Each licence provides learners with a choice of level from &quot;beginner&quot; to &quot;elementary plus&quot; . Beginner is for &quot;A&quot; level and elementary plus is for &quot;B-&quot; (B minus) level.
