      This is the power and beauty of his mindset. He could easily adapt his approach to the people he wanted to reach. Paul had a “ Ministry-Marketing Mindset .” It’s one that always begins with the background, perspective and needs of the people you want to reach.

    20. Speaking to Needs Paul seems to have understood that in order to get the people’s attention and be able to speak to them, he had to understand their needs. The needs of the Athenians affected the approach of Paul.

      • Paul was greatly disturbed personally at the idolatry of the people of Athens, but he did not make his feelings the starting point of how he approached the Athenians.
      • Instead, he spoke to them based on their perceptions and needs.
      • He even affirmed them saying they were “religious” people
      • He spoke to them as people who might be interested in learning about the UNKNOWN GOD.

      • WHAT DO YOU OFFER 4. Tell what problems have solved or contributions you have made. 5. Offer a vivid example. 6. Tell why you are interested in your listener.
      • WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS 7. Tell what very special service, product or solutions you can offer him or her. 8. What are the advantages of working with you? In what do you differ from competitive companies?
      • HOW DO YOU DO IT 9. Give a concrete example or tell a short story, show your uniqueness and provide illustrations on how you work.
