CFA Chief Officer Fire and Emergency Management Team purpose and functions: 22 September 2011 CFA IS A VOLUNTEER AND COMMUNITY BASED FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICE ORGANISATION OUR VISION Working together with communities to keep Victorians safe from fire and other emergencies. OUR MISSION Protecting lives and property Lead , manage and, where necessary, exercise command and control of CFA capability and service delivery relating to the management, prevention and suppression of fires and other emergencies in Victoria and elsewhere as required. Create and maintain relationships with our partners. Promote the CFA mission, vision and values and a culture of continuous improvement in service delivery across CFA .
