  • Email - Messages distributed by electronic means from one computer user to one or more recipients via a network. - Electronic Mail
  • Wiki -A web application which allows people to add, modify, or delete content in collaboration with others. -Text is usually written using a simplified markup language or a rich-text editor.
  • Social Bookmarking - A social bookmarking service is a centralized online service which enables users to add, annotate, edit, and share bookmarks of web documents.
  • HTML -Hypertext Markup Language - A standardized system for tagging text files to achieve font, color, graphic, and hyperlink effects on WorldWide Web pages.
  • Podcast -A podcast is a digital medium consisting of an episodic series of audio, video, PDF, or ePub files subscribed to and downloaded through web syndication or streamed online to a computer or mobile device.
  • VoIP -Voice over Internet Protocol - Methodology and group of technologies for the delivery of voice communications and m ultimedia sessions over Internet Protocol (IP) networks, such as the Internet.
  • Online Chat - Online chat may refer to any kind of communication over the Internet that offers a real-time transmission of text messages from sender to receiver.
  • WWW -WorldWideWeb - is a system of interlinked hypertext do cuments accessed via the Internet.With a web browser, one can view web pages that may contain text, images, videos, and other multimediaand n avigate between them via hyperlinks.
  • Streaming -Streaming media is multimedia th at is constantly received by and presented to an end-user while being delivered by a provider. -Refers to the process of delivering media in this manner; the term refers to the delivery method of the medium rather than the medium itself.
  • Blog - Is a discussion or informational site published on the World WideWeb and consisting of discrete entries ("posts") typically displayed in reverse chronological order.
  • Social Networking - A social network is a social structure made up of a set of social actors (such as individuals or organizations) and a set of the dyadic ties between these actors.
  • URL -A uniform resource locator. - a specific character string that constitutes a reference to a resource.
  • Web Feed -a data format used for providing users with frequently updated content. - A web feed is also sometimes referred to as a syndicated feed.
