Good presentation... what do you think about people who insist that the quantity of links is more important than quality?
  • + dazzlindonna Donna Fontenot 6 months ago
@guest115bb8, I believe the presentation was saying that after they naturalized their anchor text, the related +30 penalty went away after the 2 month period. Penalties (at least some of them) do have time limits on them, so if you’ve gotten rid of the problem, then once the time limit is up, you can be back in good graces again. But if you didn’t get rid of the problem, and the time limit expires, the penalty can just start over again with a brand new time limit. (That’s my understanding of it, generally speaking, but of course, no one but the GoogMeisters know the exact nature of it).

interesting presentation! I would be interested in that tooll..

where did you get the information that a +30 penalty expires after 2 months, though? I got one (or thats what it seems like) in late Feb and it still hasnt expired. I asked on google forums whether penalties expire and they said No. Anyway, I’ve done all the steps to be re-included but no luck so far after 2.5 months. What next?
