Colour 05

  1. 1. The colour temperature isa characteristic of visiblelight that has importantapplications in lighting, photography, videography, publishing, manufacturing, astrophysics, horticulture, and other fields.
  2. 2. The colors of red, orange, and yellow areconsidered warm colors because they arethe colors of fire. These hues are also saidto advance, meaning they appear to comeforward, making the walls feel closer. Thus, they can actually make a room feelcozy when used in decorating
  3. 3. Warm colours are made with orange, red, yellow and combinations of them all. Asthe name indicates, they tend to make youthink of sunlight and heat. Warm colorslook as though they come closer, oradvance (as do dark colors), which is whytheyre often used to make large roomslook cozier. If you have a huge bedroomthat you want to look more "particular"try painting a warm color such as "terracotta" or brown to make it feel cozier
  4. 4. Cool colors are basedon blues, greens, pinks, purples, blue-greens, magentas, and true "blue-based"reds.Because these colorshave a tendency to feellike they are receding, cool tones are oftenused to paint the wallsof a small room tomake the room appearlarger.
