    1. Build Logic and Assign User Type Permissions Celeroo Builder Introduction – Part III Development De coded
    2. Henry “The Angry” Customer Harry “The Harried” Vendor Celeroo “The Solution” Builder Marty “The Smart” Business Analyst Jackie “The Geeky” Coder THE ACTORS ARE
    3. We understand, Harry. We are trying our best but the demand for cheaper , faster and better always beats our improved efforts. We need a tool that can simplify some of the complex tasks and automate most routine tasks. It will help free up a lot of Jackie’s and my time. Marty, Jackie! Why is it that we fall behind schedule all the time? I am running losses on almost all projects and yet cannot keep the customers happy. Things are falling behind schedule and I am staring at an opportunity lost. I feel it was a mistake to work with you, Harry.
    4. Marty, you nailed it again. In Part I, I showed you how you can build a better app by ensuring that requirements are managed correctly and in a very simple way. I also showed you how to manage all communications in a simple manner right within the project space. In Part II, I showed you how simple building pages can be. That itself will make building an app faster . In this Part, I will show you that building logic and assigning permissions to user types can also be as simple as reading English. You may need a little bit of Jackie’s help to understand some aspects but you will pick it up very fast.
    5. Automatic user authorization/login logic
      • Awesome!
      • With just a few clicks and without Jackie’s help, I can create the authorization logic for various types of users of the app. Of course, if it needs Jackie’s brainwaves, the tips are provided on how to manually create the logic as well.
      • I just have to select the user type, an input block/DB table that stores the user type information, the unique field and the password field (I already built these while building pages).
      • I can add additional conditions based on dropdown selections, and voila! I am done.
    6. Create logic through simple selections, mostly described in plain English
      • I am feeling all-powerful!
      • I just need to spend a day or two going through the help guides and example apps provided within the platform to be able to do most of it myself. A little bit of Jackie’s time explaining these to me makes it all the more easier.
      • Again, I can now see the importance of the feature guide (selections I made while building spec), as I do not have to switch between the spec document and my task. All such seemingly minor things end up saving a lot of time while ensuring nothing gets missed and all requirements are met.
    7. Assign logic to pages, blocks and fields in one go
      • That will save me tons of time as I don’t have to go to each page, block or field and assign the logic through the popups there.
      • Also, one rule can be assigned to multiple elements with extreme ease right from this page.
    8. Assign all app permissions from a single screen
      • This could not have been simpler and faster.
      • I just select the user type and select “Access” or “No Access” next to each page, block and/or field, and all the logic gets written automatically.
      • As with building pages and logic, the seemingly unnecessary feature guide makes my life so easy as I neither have to remember anything nor switch between a spec doc and this task.
      • Very Impressive Again!
      • I did nothing and simply based on the rules assigned, I get a picture of what is left undone.
Dashboard gives you real-time visibility into project progress
      • So Harry,
      • Marty and Jackie can now save you a lot of time in development.
      • What’s more, since most of the routine tasks are automated, even your bug-fixing time will drastically come down.
      • So, you have seen (in Parts I – III) that managing requirements and changes, communications, building pages, building logic and assigning permissions have all become very easy and fast.
      • These combined will help you build apps cheaper , faster and better . Now, you can not only meet customer expectations but beat them as well.
      • All is not done yet, though. Next I will show you that you can download the code, DB schema, and take your app - lock, stock and barrel.
