  • 1. Evernote allows you to work within therealms of the progressive and highly-technological life we have today.
  • 2. Back in the days of old technology, one would have togo in front of a desktop PC to start typing up articles andprinting them or copying them on discs or flash drives topass them to the editors Today, you can write and post your blogs directly from your phone without the need to stare at a computer monitor for hours. Gone are the days of paper printing and clutter making. Apparently, you can do that digitally through your iPhone and Evernote!
  • 3. But since it’s a must to stay organized for productivity’s sake, here are some tips that you can try to make yourEvernote account a neat freak’s version of heaven.
  • 4. Uniformity is the first step to making yourEvernote as OC- clean as possible. Youdon’t have to sell your iPhone to start allover again; all you have to do is gather thepatience to rename all your documents (sowe hope you don’t have many of those).Decide on a naming convention. Do youwant to name all your files based on adate, a letter, or a specific format? In mycase, I like naming my files with the date, the specific ‘category’ of the article ornote and the note’s title!
  • 5. Just like your email, your Evernote accountcan also have an ‘Inbox’ for incomingfeeds and articles that third party servicescould send you. Since a lot of Evernoteusers tend have the habit of picking upnews and whatnots around the Internetthat you then sync to your account, it is amust to turn your default notebook intoan Inbox. Learn the habit of checking yourInbox frequently to file and re-file. Thatmeans that you need to clean up yourInbox and move the files to certain stacks, notebooks and folders. Remember to puttags and change file names based on aspecific format that you decided on.
  • 6. Finally, the best habit that you shouldmaster is the art of neatness. Digitaldocuments are hard to manage withoututmost discipline. So have patience andkeep noting!
