    2. How we can do it!
      • History
      • Beyond I2S and Blue Ocean: the Virtual Coffee Machine
      • Rollout at Global Accounts
    3. Part I History
    4. I2S HQ: Merits
      • A useful tool to encourage ALL employees to contribute to the company development
      • Thinking out of the box can generate profitable solutions for MAG
      • Good ideas are not limited to management
    5. I2S HQ: and Limits
      • With vicious effects which may limit IS2 impact:
      • Individual reward prevents team approach
      • Selection process potentially kills « not finalized good ideas »
      • 3 best ideas rewards limit sound evaluation of ideas
      • Campaigns with a theme limit free spontaneous thinking
      • KPI implementation tracking favours existing ideas instead of real innovation
    6. Innovation Brazil: Pull and Push
      • A permanent, spontaneous and guided approach:
      • All year long , employees submit their ideas to the Innovation Committee
      • In parallel, each LOB innovation workgroup submits every quarter new ideas to the Innovation Committee
      • Each idea is rated by the Innovation Committee and could receive if selected from 40€ to 10,000€ reward
      • Successful implementation of the idea and its actual impact on growth/profit , will be associated with a complementary reward (% of generated profit up to initial reward amount)
    7. Innovation Brazil: lessons and limits
      • The Innovation Committee is a key success factor:
      • A team of permanent members selected in senior management of Operations, HR, Commercial, IT and Finance
      • Importance of diversity (division and hierarchy) of members in workgroups
      • always approach the idea with a customer point of view
      • Make the employees involvement permanent
      • Despite very positive results, some limits:
      • Evaluation based on ROI difficult to estimate for all ideas
      • After 3 years, intense involvement is a challenge to keep
    8. I2S: the best of two ways
      • Cooperation/Competition: favour group instead of individual approach to get more mature/finished ideas
      • 3Ps: Push, Pull in a Permanent I2S attitude
      • Top Management involvement: to show how serious we are about the process and results at stake, and get contribution of ALL employees
      • Rating/Ranking: quantitative AND qualitative criteria to reward ALL good ideas and not just a limited number
      • Recognition/Reward: best reward is idea implementation and associated recognition
    9. Alternative Rewards Identification of competences Use by HR for mobility Provide training offers according to competence/center of interest Include and reward through Annual performance Review Participation of champion to presentations of project to Bus or Allianz, and to implementation Breakfast with the president Participation to I2S committee Individual congratulations from all COMEX members Innovation employee of the year Name project after initiating person Communication throughout the group One afternoon off for the team An extra day-off / possibility to adapt one’s working hours Gain of points, and attribution of rewards according to number of points Possibility to finance a humanitarian project to be chosen by the group Champions Public recognition “ Fringe benefits”
