  2. 2. Why craft and art? <ul><li>It´s a great way to facilitate language learning in learners. </li></ul><ul><li>They enrich the learning experience </li></ul>
  3. 3. Why to use it… <ul><li>They can supplement a course book-not always appropriate. </li></ul><ul><li>Everybody works, depending on abilities.Some may work cutting out things, some others writing the texts, etc. </li></ul>
  4. 4. <ul><li>Fantastic way to include cross curricular activities. </li></ul><ul><li>Ex. </li></ul><ul><li>Drama skills : create masks and use them in a play. </li></ul><ul><li>Geography knowledge : make flag posters. </li></ul><ul><li>Computer skills : Searching in the Internet,etc. </li></ul>
  5. 5. <ul><li>May be you could ask them to produce art work for competition. </li></ul><ul><li>Ex. Design a Halloween card, prepare a cover, posters, photo stories, plasticine animals- any finished product that can be displayed in an exhibition for example- for an open day. </li></ul>
  6. 6. <ul><li>Kinaesthetic learners- move around, and </li></ul><ul><li>Visual/spatial learners- love making things. </li></ul><ul><li>MOTIVATING </li></ul>
  7. 7. <ul><li>Less academic may shine: </li></ul><ul><li>WHy? </li></ul><ul><li>Do not need to master a grammar structure to be good at cutting and sticking. </li></ul>
